DA2 Sketchy On The Details Quest Guide And How To Complete It

Navigating the complex street fights of Kirkwall in Dragon Age II requires players to stay alert, especially when accepting side duties from public notice boards. One intriguing mission in Act 2, titled Sketchy On The Details, tasks Hawke with protecting an old acquaintance named Sketch from hostile mercenary groups. Completing this objective yields valuable experience and coins, but it requires visiting multiple districts across the city.

Starting the Quest in Hightown

To begin this quest, inspect the Chanters Board located in Hightown during Act 2. Reading the posted note informs Hawke that assassins are hunting a mage named Sketch somewhere in Kirkwall. Once accepted, your log updates to track down the ambushers spread across various local neighborhoods.

Finding and Defeating the Assassin Groups

You must locate and defeat five specific enemy squads located throughout Kirkwall. Head to Lowtown near the alienage to eliminate a pair of dangerous Antivan Assassins. Travel to Darktown along the central path to clear out Carta mercenaries.

Next, visit the Gallows during the daytime to defend Sketch from a Qunari death squad. Afterward, wait until nightfall to visit Hightown and clear out the Denerim Avengers near the Viscount's Keep steps. Finally, enter The Hanged Man tavern at night to dispatch the Rivaini fighters in the back room.

Completing the Mission and Claiming Rewards

After all five enemy groups have been dealt with, make your way to the Docks during the night. Look for Sketch standing in the harbor area to report that the threat has been neutralized. Interacting with him concludes the assignment, granting experience points and currency for your efforts.
